Join Career Coach Julia Bourque for four 1-hour sessions during Spring 1 2025 with a small cohort of peers to develop career foundations and insights with a supportive community! This series gives you the time and space to deep dive into long-term career values and self-reflection using iterative design thinking modules. We’ll aim to align long term career goals with core values by engaging in storytelling with peers and using fun design thinking tools for a “bias towards action” mindset. This structure of small group coaching intends to encourage collaboration and familiarity among peers committed to moving through each workshop together.
If you want to learn more, join Julia for an info session on Tuesday, December 3, 11:45am-12:15pm: sign up in CMS!
To register, students must submit 2-3 sentences on why they’d like to join and what they hope to get out of the sessions, meet with Julia for a 10-minute check-in prior to the first session, and commit to all four sessions: 5-6pm on Wednesdays – 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19. Space is limited: max 8 students.
Note: This four-part series covers the same design thinking modules that are offered through the 2024-25 academic year. Any student who has participated in those workshops can still register for this small group series if they would like to revisit the modules: Worldview/Workview, Impact Mapping, Odyssey Planning, and Energy/Flow. Additionally, any student is welcome regardless of whether they’ve accepted an offer or a still seeking – this series focuses on long-term career development and not specific functional or industry areas.
