Recruiting for Government roles in 2025

U.S. Federal government recruiting for 2025 has become “wait and see.” Traditional recruiting with the United States Secret Service and FBI Special Advisor program is on hold this fall, however recruiters are available to speak with those interested pursuing these roles on their own.

If you are thinking on a global scale – there are multi-national organizations that have programs, roles and job postings throughout the year. The World Bank Group begins webinars and information sessions later in the fall and keep an eye out for recruiting sessions and job postings from other groups like IFC, United Nations and OECD beginning late fall.

Graduating students seeking full time roles after graduation can expect state and local governments around the country to hire year-round. Connecticut and New Haven have strong ties to Yale, with the current Governor of Connecticut, Mayor of New Haven and their Chief of Staff being Yale School of Management Alumni.

You can expect a wide range of roles for federal, multinational, state and local including consulting, strategy, financial management, data science and analytics, cybersecurity, operation specialists, public health and foreign service diplomats to name just a few.
