HireSOM - Open Hour | April 22

Are you an employer with hiring needs? A current Yale SOM student seeking full-time or internship opportunities? If the answer is a resounding yes, register for one or all of the April HireSOM – Open Hours!

No panels, presentations, or prep– each employer will engage in one-on-one or small group discussions with students in a designated virtual “room.”

Leave the logistics coordination to the Yale SOM CDO, and focus on building connections so vital to recruiting!

Who is this event for?

• All employers with full-time or internship hiring needs
• All current Yale SOM students of all degrees and graduation years

Event schedule:

11:45am-12:00pm: Employers log-in to test connection and navigate to assigned virtual room

12:00-1:00pm: Networking (Students will move from room to room, while Employers remain stationary in their breakout room)

Employers: 

Follow these steps to register and check your inbox in the days before the event for final event logistics 

1. Complete your 12twenty registration, including fields such as “one sentence pitch” and “positions hiring” as students reference these employer registration details ahead of the event
2. Add participating employer representatives (we recommend 1-2 per organization) to your registration in 12twenty to ensure they receive pre and post-event communication.  If you are hiring for multiple functions and/or locations and would benefit from multiple “rooms”, please email som.recruiting@yale.edu after submitting your registration
3. Submit job description(s) for active hiring needs to 12twenty as soon as they are available
