FAQs:
What is the event format?
The event will be held virtually in Zoom, where each registered employer will have an assigned breakout room. There is no group kickoff or presentation, so upon joining you can navigate to your breakout room, where you will remain for the duration of the event, while students move from room to room.
Should we prepare a presentation or intro for students visiting our breakout room?
Students will come and go at different intervals, so we recommend keeping conversation fluid to allow students to join the conversation at any point. If multiple new students join the room within a few minutes of each other, consider a brief pause to introduce yourself and then resume discussion.
How do I collect resumes from participating students?
A resume book of registered students will be shared post-event and will also be immediately available at the close of the event via the event listing in 12twenty.
We have several reps joining, can we request additional breakout rooms?
If you are representing hiring needs across different locations, functions, or business units – yes! (Email som.recruiting@yale.edu with your request.) Otherwise, we recommend 1-2 attendees to maximize conversation and flow. TIP: add all participating reps to your 12twenty registration to ensure they receive important pre and post-event details.
