Social Impact Consulting (SIC) is a graduate student organization that provides pro bono consulting services to nonprofits, government agencies and social enterprises. For over 20 years, SIC has connected teams of Yale MBA students with impact-oriented organizations in the New Haven area to address a range of critical business challenges. Past projects have focused on strategic planning, financial evaluation and strategy, marketing analysis, human resource management, and operations assessment.
Our 50-plus student clubs are an integral part of the Yale SOM community. Clubs provide forums for discussion and opportunities for action, and they foster students’ leadership and business skills via consulting engagements, workshops, roundtables, conferences, and fundraisers. SOM clubs are inclusive networks open to all students to participate as identifying members or as active allies.
Groups of student consultants work with partner organizations to address a range of critical business challenges identified by the partner organizations, in areas including Financial Planning, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, Strategy and Design & Innovation.
We also offer social impact consulting workshops, training and best practices sharing; social and networking events; and career discussions for students.
