Following up on our early Fall programming, the CDO is offering two unique workshops this semester that apply a design thinking approach to your job/internship exploration and search. These workshops offer opportunities to dive deeper into your career values, engage in brainstorming and storytelling with peers, and use new and fun tools for a “bias towards action” mindset. We’ll build off the success definition and three 5-year alternate plans from the CDO Fall Friday/Orientations. These sessions are discussion-based, so come ready to share and participate!
The workshops include:
- Exploring Values & Career Foundations where students will identify and articulate their worldview and workview. They’ll explore how their worldview/workview align or if there is tension between them and discuss how they manifest in their career goals. Thursday, October 3, 11:45am-12:30pm. Registration in CMS.
- Our Energy/Flow in Fall Recruiting so students have time to explore what gives (and takes) energy during their week and brainstorm actionable options to reorganize or refocus their time. Thursday, November 7, 11:45am-12:30pm. Registration CMS.
