The Endurance Venture Lab
Founded in 2009, Endurance began as a platform for the entrepreneurial endeavors of its partners. After building five successful businesses from the founder seat, we evolved into a Venture Lab, where we design and launch mission-driven companies primarily in healthcare and fintech. We work closely with the Founder-Partners we recruit, co-locating with them in San Francisco for a minimum of two years.
Our most notable companies include Funding Circle (IPO for $2B), Collective Medical (Sold to PointClickCare for $650M), and Vouch Insurance (Series C, valued at $500M+). We have seven new companies in the Lab that are all on a promising early trajectory.
Your Role
We are looking for a Founder-Partner to build a new business in partnership with Endurance as your co-founder. As a Founder-Partner, you should be excited to build a business from 0 to 1. We’ll work together to take the business through our IC process, which usually takes 3-4 months (and is unpaid to simulate the early-stage founder journey). Upon reaching mutual conviction, Endurance will fund you and the company, and build it together with you.
We’re currently developing several projects, including a Web3 loyalty business focused on bringing meaningful engagement and ownership to soccer fans, a tech-enabled TPA, an innovative health insurance plan, as well as a number of other ideas in our target industries (Fintech and Healthcare). We think about the Founder-Partner role as a partnership with Endurance first, and view picking a specific project as secondary (although we welcome passion and interest).
Ideal candidates for this role will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a high-caliber background in investing, finance, consulting, healthcare, fintech, or Web3 / Sports.
