The Director, Corporate Strategy, will act as a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership to develop strategic plans. This role will manage the development and delivery of strategic and tactical information, analysis and recommendations concerning the organization’s competitive position in the marketplace, industry trends, forecasts and regulatory issues. Responsibilities will include working with the Service Line Leaders to develop both short-term and long-term strategic plans; working closely with the Regional Senior Vice Presidents and Service Line Vice Presidents on System-wide strategic Initiatives and alignment; leading and managing a broad variety of strategic planning activities to include the annual strategic planning process, and System-wide strategic planning that results from new needs or opportunities; and using a high degree of collaboration and thought leadership to partner with senior executives such that they make better decisions that drive the business forward.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of strategic experience in the Healthcare Industry or a related field. An understanding of Technology as it pertains to Industry data elements and business acumen is highly essential. In addition, a knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access is required. Other skills/experience will include strong management and analytical skills; the ability to effectively collaborate with Regional and Service Line leadership on short-term and long-term strategic initiatives; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to lead and manage a broad variety of strategic planning activities. While a Bachelor’s Degree is expected, a Master’s Degree in Business or a related field is highly preferred.
