The Pactiv Evergreen Pine Bluff Paper Mill is located in Pine Bluff, Arkanas, less than an hour from Little Rock in scenic southeast Arkansas. It is the largest industrial employer in Jefferson County. Opened in 1958, Pine Bluff is the largest facility within Evergreen Packaging and is home to the world’s largest gable-top liquid packaging paperboard machine. In addition to producing paperboard for cartons, the facility also produces coated paper for magazines.

Responsibilities:
Facility Sr. Financial Analyst – General Ledger
Job Description
The Facility Sr. Financial Analyst – General Ledger manages various aspects of accounting for the production facility, including financial reporting, internal controls, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting and forecasting. The Sr. Financial Analyst – General Ledger is an active member of the mill management team and is expected to lead and support facility operations.
- Provide analytical support to drive prudent operational financial decision making.
- Research, understand and communicate financial variance drivers.
- Responsible for mill financial forecasting and budgeting for various accounts.
- Supervise finance team, related to hourly payroll and salary payroll and company paid benefits.
- Oversee mill-specific accounts payable processing.
- Oversee all aspects of general accounting including balance sheet account reconciliations and assurance of appropriate accruals and proper accounting treatment.
- Tax management including sales/use tax, incentive programs and property tax.
- Oversee specific aspects of the month-end close process.
- Capital and fixed asset overview, including project financial review (return analysis) and ensuring proper administration of placed in service, depreciation, retirements and CIP control.
- Responsible for mill internal controls and policy compliance.
- Analytical support as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance required.
- MBA and CPA preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience as senior manager for large manufacturing facility preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills mandatory.
- Experience in problem solving, complex financial analysis and people management key.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point mandatory.
- Experience with SAP accounting system a plus.
