The Sales & Marketing position within Burger King APAC presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting and amplifying the success of one of these iconic brands. Tasked with driving sales, traffic, and profitability, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Burger King Asia-Pacific team, franchisees, and other functional units. This role demands a strategic approach to identify growth opportunities, execute research initiatives, and craft digital and CRM strategies tailored to the intricate nuances of the Chinese market.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop sustainable sales and marketing strategies to ensure long-term profitable growth and enhance the Burger King brand presence in China. Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to pinpoint key growth opportunities and drivers for the brand.
Marketing Calendar Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a marketing calendar based on strategic growth initiatives. Ensure the sell-in and execution of the marketing calendar by partnering with franchisees.
Digital Ecosystem Expertise: Demonstrate a profound understanding of the Chinese digital landscape. Leverage this knowledge to lead the conceptualization, setup, and execution of best-in-class digital and CRM strategies. Specifically, adept at navigating the Private-Domain Ecosystem through WeChat and Brand App.
CDP Program Management: Oversee the development and execution of a successful Customer Data Platform (CDP) program. Ensure the program’s effectiveness in consolidating customer data and driving personalized marketing strategies.
Research Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive plans for conducting market research that align with strategic objectives. Execute research initiatives, ensuring relevance and actionable insights that contribute to the brand’s growth.
Performance Analysis: Utilize analytical skills to assess the success of promotions, campaigns, and new product introductions. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize future initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Education and Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, consumer-tech, CRM, or consulting. Previous experience in Food and Beverage industry preferred but not required. Bachelor’s degree or above, MBA is a plus.
Digital Marketing and CRM Expertise: Strong understanding of the Chinese digital ecosystem, including expertise in digital marketing channels and platforms. Demonstrated capability in formulating and implementing successful CRM strategies, especially within the China WeChat Private-Domain Ecosystem.
Strategic Thinking and Market Research: Ability to think strategically and innovatively, and devise comprehensive plans to drive sales, brand presence, and overall business growth. Proven experience in planning and executing market research initiatives.
Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills to measure the success of marketing programs, promotions, and new product introductions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentations.
Negotiation and Influence Skills: Skilled in fostering robust collaboration and interpersonal relationships with cross-functional teams, within the Burger King APAC team, and among franchisees. Demonstrates leadership proficiency in guiding marketing and sales initiatives among franchisees. Proficient in negotiation and influence techniques to effectively execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with franchisees.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Mandarin
